Manual car. Lots of histroy but original book is missing so first few years stuff isnt present.
Engine has recently been out and had all the belts done, gearbox (manual) was swapped but still needs to work on synco. Original is supplied but probably needs a rebuild. No real rust to speak about - tiny bit on rear under lower corners of rear hatch. Iterior is pretty good - tear in rear centre and dash needs repair to fix screw holes from 80's phone.
Drives straight, engine pulls well stops fine.
What are thoughts on the manual over the auto?

Thanks. I have decided to leave this car. Individually I could live with the issues, but collectively I felt they were too much for the money; No early history, no service book, not that much spend over the last 5 years, poor paint enough to probably warrant a respray, gearbox work, and repairs to dash and various trim pieces. It hasn't had a decent service for a few years, and I think all things considered with paint, box, service and trim would end up needing the purchase price again spending for what is still an 83 car with over 80k on the clock.
