430 Manifolds - If or when?

My search now begins in earnest.
I have found a lovely very low miles car(5000)its an late 2007 supplied and serviced by a very well known main dealer.
Not had manifolds, they say it doesn't need them. Most other cars I have seen of that age (albeit with higher miles) have had them replaced in the last year or so.
My worry is that it isnt a warranty item and I'm going to faced with a 4 or 5 grand bill at the next service when they tell me they need replacing.
Do they all fail? or am I worrying unduly?
