F430 - Combined annual and mileage based service?
Discussion
My next mileage based service will be at ~31k, and as things are going it's likey to conincide with the next annual service. What is the best approach in this scenario? Is there a degree of overlap between the types of service that makes one - likely the annual - superflous if a mileage based service is being performed at the same time?
Steer appreciated, thanks.

Given your affinity (and comfort) for getting your hands dirty with maintaining the car yourself perhaps it might be an idea to look into getting most of the servicing work done by an indy (or yourself), and taking it to the main dealer for some perfunctory servicing work to get the stamp?
Not sure how feasible this actually is in practice mind, but it would kill two birds with one stone.
I appreciate it's a Ferrari but I'd still like to know what this £2.5k is actually buying you (labour costs notwithstanding).
I suppose an Indy could do the larger mileage based service and Ferrari the annual, but I if doing so I may as well just take it to an Indy for the lot. I'm happy to take on any interim work myself but I'll always take it to a reputable garage to get a service & stamp. Not sure how feasible this actually is in practice mind, but it would kill two birds with one stone.

Quoted 2.4 k by Lancaster. Colchester for my 360 and that of course includes cambelts, 430 does not have belts I know but gives you an idea, Mike
Thank you, Mike - that's considerably better than my Graypaul quote given belts are factored into yours. I'll give Lancaster a call later today.Mark

That's fair enough but a few bills like that and any value advantage you feel a main dealer history gives a particular car over the reputable indies will be wiped out in no time at all, and I know various independents are Ferrari trained.
Each to his own though and perhaps look to getting the main dealer figure down a bit as they may offer a degree of price matching. Worth doing a little homework on.
For me though, my main dealer quote buys me a 31250 service. Going to my very reputable indie buys us the same service, a cam belt change, a full set of tyres and leaves a little left to replace the two lower front ball joints that are just starting to exhibit a bit of play.
Christ. When you put it like that there is a compelling case for the alternative. Each to his own though and perhaps look to getting the main dealer figure down a bit as they may offer a degree of price matching. Worth doing a little homework on.
