As in title really

having a really hard time choosing between the 2 as both float my boat but don't want to get it wrong.

on one hand theres the CS probably the purest most raw and I love the looks and it potentially a sounder investment ? (yes its a factor for me)

but then for outright performance and usability theres the Scud which is still quick enough amongst fresher offerings.

within budget I will be able to afford the nicest of the Scud's but when it comes to CS I am looking at the 16-20k RHD cars or the low miles LHD's

then i start thinking for that money you could buy a Huracan / 650 / 458 - nearly a 488 - arghhh - but I hate loosing £££'s and i love the older character stuff.

any advice or ridicule welcomed

Thanks for all the responses guys youve made a hard decision even harder -haha

Been looking and enquiring about a few of each what a minefield heres a few responses no names.


Its quite normal with a low mileage ferrari not to service it for the first 3 years nothing to be bothered about.

Quite normal for it not to have been serviced for past 9 years as sat in temp controlled collection.

They never record services on cars from that part of world but that doesnt mean it wasnt serviced.

No it hasnt had a cambelt yet because such low miles but we will do one before delivery : 2004 car

That said there are some proper cars out there with great provenance and decent sellers.

Heart and ears says CS after all comments
Head & right foot says Scud

Then i looked at the Gallardo Balboni manual --- arrghh

By the way hows the carbon bits in your Scud engine bay ?

Do they all go milky ?
Is there a fix other than replacing all 5 parts ?

Quick Stradale question ?

is the factory stripe on 360 CS painted like the Scud & Speciale or is it a Viynl Stripe ?

to be fair this is the conclusion I have come to in the argument for the amount of use and miles its more about the smiles, just like the 550 the CS if chosen will not be doing big runs just short runs to savour and blow away the blues, capable though the 550 is I never push her quite happy just enjoying the atmosphere of being in it with the 'open gate' and aromas.

I largely suspect from all the input most CS owners now use them as a shot in the arm and ears ! for short squirts ?

I have a more modern toy for quick stuff to keep the 650 S's in sight.

interesting re Stripe very conflicting info out there Ferrarichat seems to concur its a sticker / transfer that has been lacquered over.

Precisely.

Same with handling. Lower limits mean you enjoy limits more of the time.

Much as Milford Haven appeals everything ive looked at there has had way too many owners and poor maintenance


So back to Scuds and CS
I am swaying to CS but only just now im opening another can of worms is it worth payin 30k more for a RHD ?

£30k? More like £60k to £100K surely?
