I was wondering why I got that reaction!!! No, sorry I definitely meant a car with 25k miles or less and I'm budgeting 85k upwards as I've seen a couple at this level lately.
I just don't want to buy a 'collectors car' for 150k. That VVS car has been for sale for over a year and despite the fact that it hasn't sold the price keeps going up.
Sold the F40 a year ago. It wasn't that useable and always felt like it was about to break down, which is did twice.

Thanks mate and superb taste you have. I was just thinking today how I starred looking at these in 09/10 when no one wanted them, well not no one but you know what I mean. Lovely mint 8k car was 65k or something. I had other cars at the time so didn't pursue it, but time to put that right now. Will see what surfaces up.
Well after Amari bought that car for 90 with 25k miles, they are now marketing it for 150. The Ferrari Centre are now also asking 150 for the car with same miles.
The Lovett car sold for just a smidge under 150k and that had 6k miles. Seems these current two for sale are being a bit optimist! Are people getting greedy......
Shame as I really wanted one, but I just don't believe it is worth 150k of my money. 100k yes.

Me neither. A shame as I would pay 100k for one. If the market cools then it's going to be these sorts of cars that tank. Honestly I'll be amazed if someone pays 150k for a 25k miles car.
Never mind I'll just wait. Might buy a CGT instead. They are still not expensive for what they are.

You don't know what I actually paid, although I respect you're saying that about the market in general - which is absolutely true. It's utter madness.
Tom Hartley Jnr told me he wanted 250k for his 512 M, with people like him out there then its boom to bust time. As he's asking these silly prices, I mean that's ridiculous....it must also mean that he has a rolodex of panic buyer and speculators willing to buy his cars and sales patter.....I mean two 355s both F1 for 95k?
When the market does collapse I'm going to enjoy buying up a few more cars. I do believe that these are rare and special cars which have investment value, but they are being pushed to breaking point at the moment and there is a lot of greed out there. That won't last but the cars will, as will the appetite of those that really love cars for cars sake.
