So chaps, what's the view on the FF?

Currently I've got a Bentley GTC which having 2 kids get's used a surprising amount, so I was wondering about updating it to an FF.

I have sat in them and I seem to recall the rear seats are really quite good.

Seems £160 ish gets a nice one, and given 612s seem to have bottomed out at circa £70 ish, do we think FFs have a lot further to go?

Any views from owners greatly appreciated.

Ok, forget the bottoming out bit, life's too short and not everything has to be thought of as an investment.

So to replace the Bentley GTC, ferrari Ff or phantom coupe?

Ive driven a couple. Great cabin, amazing sound from the V12 (sounds even louder than in the F12 I think), very good on the road, decent useable boot.

As at alternative to the Bentley I would say go for it, I certainly wouldn't choose a Phantom.
Have to say I think I'm erring towards the FF.

The Phantom might be just a touch ostentatious!

I see you have a Bentley GTC also, that's what I'm thinking of replacing with an FF so I'd really appreciate you views after your test, partularly how the rear room compares as I've got a lanky 13 year old to accommodate!

Absolutely, and with 4wd its a sensible choice for the bad weather, I was only thinking of the children!

Go it!

Got to say, WOW, what a thing. Just given it the briefest tickle and it's so quick!

I've had several people who drive them all the time tell me the FF is the best car Ferrari make, not the sexiest, but the best, and I can see it now.

Spec on mine for those interested in details is...
Exterior Nero Daytona
Interior is Nero stitched rosso with rosso diamond stitched seats.
Scuderia shields
Chrome grill
Sports exhaust
Electro chromatic mirrors
AFS headlamps
Front and rear dual view cameras
Rear seat entertainment
20" Diamond cut forged rims
High power hi-fi
HELE
Leather headliner and parcel shelf.

Granted I've only done about 10 miles but I'm loving it!!!

I'll sort a picture soon as I can but here's a ropey one from advert to be going on with...

Thanks guys, I know it's only been one afternoon but already I can tell it's a mega thing already.

It so special and yet so usable, I was worried it'd feel massive and wide but it really doesn't.

And I love the colour scheme, the red diamond stitched seats look awesome.

I'm looking forward to giving it a wash over the weekend (sad I know) and then I'll get some decent pics hopefully.

Just come home in thick snow in the FF, what a machine.

The traction it finds in snow is incredible, folks sliding around and I just drove through, incredible.

Problem is, with 2 kids already if I adipted we wouldn't fit in the FF so kind of self defeating I'm afraid! smile

Yesterday was the first dry day round our way so after dropping my lad and his mate (plus all their kit) at cricket practice, I got a cache to give the right pedal a bit of a tickle.

My god it's got some go about it, but it's so comfortable and usable too.

The way it gets its power down despite the near zero temp is astonishing and very reassuring.
By comparison the 599 with less power would never have managed it, can't help think an F12 might be a bit of a handful too.

Awesome machine.
