I'm not sure my personal opinion is really any use, however, since you ask...
I don't like no 3. It just seems a funny place to stop the stripe.
No 1, I think wastes the stripe in that you can't really see it at all from the rear.
No 4, I think is a little bit too much.
No 2, for me, is just right.
So my vote is for No 2.
One note: I assume you will have standard, UK, yellow rear plate and I think it might be worth showing that as I think that helps sway me from No 4 to No 2.

Thanks. Point well made about UK plate, I'll try and paint them yellow......probably be a dogs dinner I don't like no 3. It just seems a funny place to stop the stripe.

3 for definite, pretty sure that's where the stripe on my CS stopped.
Can you get the brake calipers in the same gloss colour as the stripe?
I do love the colour scheme though, really suits it.
Your boys threw away a good chance at the weekend to put pressure on Leicester, hope you haven't got a team of "bottlers" there mate
Don't rub it in! I watched it at home with a Gooner mate. TBH, I was worried at one stage, probably a fair result but we should have closed it out. Per the calipers I did ask but the calipers are huge and easily seen and there's already so much going on with the car I decided less is more. Thanks for the positive comment on the scheme. Thanks, really helpful. Interesting #3 is emerging as a strong favourite, while #4 is popping up too.
Truth is #4 was not requested by me but was assumed by the factory because they know my scheme is based on "car 14" the 1961 250 SWB Le Mans winner. It keeps faith with the historic scheme.
At first I thought it too much but it's growing on me.
For Rubystone, I had considered TDF and have it on my Speciale already (with white stripes) but for the F12 tdf I've always like the "Passo Corto" Le Mans car.
This is the car.

Then it has to be 4.
Agree. For historic reasons and completeness I think you must go with 4. On reflection, the others are almost half hearted.(Ps first dibs please on the TDF Speciale if you ever decide to sell)

I wonder if you could get away with older style silver on black number plates. As per my 911T below. That might work really well with the blue/silver? I see quite a few 'newer cars' with such plates, so perhaps Plod doesn't mind?
As you can see, I like TdeF Fezzers!
Not sure I want to risk issues with the Bill but your TDF cars are stunning, the 550M in particular. One of the great colours. Here's a pic of my pocket rocket 458S.As you can see, I like TdeF Fezzers!

was just looking through the "normal" F12 classifieds after reading about the Giallo one for sale, this is another F12 for sale which shows something similar to your current conundrum...
Great spot. And very similar; the small "lozenge" of black on the back of the tailgate doesn't feel right. Seems like it's all or nothing. Thanks Matt. It's a personal thing, I don't like contrast stitching the same way I don't like yellow calipers, I find both distract the eye when there's more interesting detail on which to focus. I've attached two pics of my 599 GTO's interior which I specced tone on tone. You can see there is carbon, alcantara and leather mix. I think it works. The tdf will have the same mix. Definitely each to their own, Ferrari's revenue forecast counts on this!
You're correct about the upper dash, especially on the Speciale, contrast stitching is strongly reflected on bright days, would drive me nuts. Per usage, my UK Speciale Aperta is stored with 150 miles on it, I have the Speciale coupe which I use, just can't get to drive the SA. Mad but it is what it is. But the tdf will be used for sure, reports from those who have had it delivered already say it's awesome. Can't wait.
Finally I went with no stripe on the rear. I can add it later when delivered but the rear is already very busy and I'd rather have the expense of adding than removing!

You should perhaps source a job at a top end dealer helping sell high performance cars through the summer, I bet you'd be very effective; you know more than some of the so called specialists!
Per the 458 SA, prices for UK supplied examples are stratospheric, they're not far short of a decent F40 for goodness sake. But it's a great car and of course, a UK car is rare. You can't say no when invited by Ferrari and if I didn't already have the coupe I'd be driving the SA; the Speciale is a remarkably quick car but it is its incredible agility that's so addictive. And the sound of that magnificent NA V8
The exterior colour of my GTO is Ferro. Here is one my favourite pictures of her with a beautiful, very special old lady.

That is a great photo, and a great car! Interesting to hear your thoughts about the Speciale. Although I'm sure the tdf probably does the same thing!
Thanks. The GTO - and more so the tdf - are seriously big mid-front V12 beasts. They demand attention. To bastardise Mr Andretti's famous quote, if your hands aren't sweaty with those cars you're not driving fast enough. The Speciale however for me is a very different vibe because of its amazing fluidity/agility mixed with deep pockets of power. It plays a different game. Like trying to decide who was greater: Sugar Ray Leonard or Mike Tyson. Impossible, both remarkable. Gassing Station | Ferrari V12 | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
