Is the F512M a worthy future classic

I've been offered an F512M but can't decide what I think of them. Any thoughts and opponions are appreciated.

I'm only a dealer of a very narrow band of very specific rare Porsche. I was and am a car enthusiast first. I was thinking of adding a testarossa to my collection, but was offered a 512M. I can't decide on whether I like them. Was interested in others views.

Thanks amoCS. I know they're rare, but can't decide whether that makes them desirable. Are they that much better than a testarossa or 512TR. For the same money there's other rare ferrari like CS, Scud, Speciale.

Thanks for all the views and comments on this, some of which echo my thoughts as well. I'm just so undecided on the looks side of it. Apparently the engine has many upgrades. Is it that noticeable to drive and a really special engine.

Well after 9 months since starting the thread and over a year since considering a 512 of some flavour I've now bought one. :-) I decide to buy a 512 TR as I found I was trying to force myself to like the looks of the M. Didn't seem right. To me the 512 TR simply looks right.

After mulling over the current price point and views offered either way, I simply bought it regardless of what may or may not happen. It's a flat 12, sounds awesome at the red line. What else do you need. :-)

I haven't taken delivery yet. I've asked for full engine out service, cam belts, all fluids, filters, etc before I take it. Will take pics as soon as I get it. Will look great next to the Countach.

Picked my 512tr up 2 weeks ago. Had the biggest grin all the way home. Really like it a lot. Was very surprised how user friendly it is, especially compared with my Countach. Fantastic engine and gearbox. No squeaks or rattles inside, rides great. Can look quite big and intimidating from outside, but once on the move feels surprisingly small.

Well I've had some great trips this summer in the 512 tr. What a great car. Definitely better than I expected it to be. So usable, loads of feed back, great box, and what an engine.
