After selling my 1976 911 last summer I have a hankering for a Dino, I love the looks and watched a few YouTube videos. Is 40k a reasonable budget for something usable but not mint?

Are they an easy sell? In 2025 I have the option to pay off the mortgage but would mean selling it.

thanks for your replies, they certainly make sense. I took a punt and bought a cheap 911 from the states and it hit me with a really expensive engine rebuild bill! fortunately prices are strong so managed to get out without losing money.

£40k would be my top budget so it sounds like I am probably out of the market if the blue one has a 10k+ shopping list

I don't mind getting my hands dirty but know my limitations and prefer patina cars to shiny stuff.

small world to find it back for sale in the same town!

I have emailed the seller so I will see what it is about.

Thanks for your findings into the blue car, certainly worth bearing in mind. I haven't heard back from the seller so probably a dead advert that they have forgotten to delete when it sold. I love the way the design is so similar to the stratos.
