Hypothetically lets say someone has a question on how to fix something and they post a new topic on PH.

This is met with the usual helpful post which just has a link to a similar thread that is a year+ old.

is that right? - surely technology and knowledge has evolved in the past 12 months and therefore a fresh discussion is in order?

Why is everyone so quick to end new threads on topics that have been discussed in the past? there are new users, new points of view?

I have ordered one on lease. it's being built right now. Expecting it in October smile
