My recent post was removed becaused of apparently named and shamed

Apologies as this was not intended, but I had recieved a rude email from an online car valuation company; and wanted to get feedback from fellow PHers

I might have been wrong in overly using their services, but I was not aware of the limitations, as not in their T&Cs

Anyway the question is, why can we recommend people, places, but when I was looking for feedback from PHers based on a named company it is looked as naming and shaming?

Does this mean if we get poor service say from a car dealer we are not allowed to name the actual place?

Kind regards

p.s. doing a top work admin, as a brilliant forum smile

thanks for the quick reply

i was just seeking fellow PHers their opinion on the feedback i had from the valuation place, but i can understand the above

however what happens if somone recieves poor service, a simple scenario car related i.e. tyre place. so it's find to recommend a place with say good stock, service, but what happens if someone recieved not so good stock, i.e. put a wrong tyre on, got the alloys scratched, is that allowed; or is it purely positive comments only?

That's fair enough
Just a simple hard fact rule not to do it in open forum

I guess I wasn't really aware I was doing such a thing
But I take it on board
