Not much really pisses me off, but this has really pissed me off. New mobile skin is ste and using the full site on a mobile is a ballache. What a clusterfk.

The Beta2 skin looks 'ok' on a mobile device, if totally 'different' from mobile.ph and something we'll have to get used to - I'm not totally alien to change. I don't like the advert placed in the middle of the thread which I cannot block though.

The main problem with Beta2 is it looks absolutely fking horrendous on a desktop. Is it really hard to get the font/size/formatting sorted out?

Well, with Beta2 being garbage on a desktop I'm reluctant to switch to it in order to cure the mobile site's ills. One wonders why you didn't opt to sort out the Beta2 experience before rolling out these other changes. Now there just seems to be a bit of a clusterfk all round with people whinging left right and centre

Pete, thanks for keeping us updated. I'm not actually using Beta2 mobile site at the moment as the desktop is so terrible. I'm concerned however at benjj's post above with the video advert covering most of the screen real estate.

Is this how it's going to be going forward? I did have a guilty pleasure of surfing PH in my tent at Le Mans before I pass out but if there's data intensive advertising all over the site I won't be doing that any more. It also uses up data allowance when out and about not on wifi.
