Just received email asking for registration for vehicle when the registration is on the pictures of the advert to do a hpi check when I've paid for anyone to check for a free hpi check through pistonheads?

" Hi I am from Nottingham and I'm interested in your vehicle. Please can you let me have the reg number so I can do a HPI check. I'm in Helsinki on a business trip for a week, so I prefer to communicate via email.
Have a nice evening!

Advice appreciated

Not sure what PH could do to be honest, I think anyone who would be legitimately interested would contact through phoning and not by email, so maybes just phone calls only? Who knows what's best, maybe setting up an account to contact seller that way it could be shut down if it's spamming/trying to scam sellers.

Just a thought

Yep that was the next email I got off him

Hi there Dave
I made a hpi check on the reg number of your vehicle and it's okay. I really like this car and would like to come to see it when I return in the UK next Monday(June 1th), but first I want more information about MOT and V5, would be helpful for me one photo of each. Thanks
Bill
PS: Sorry for the delayed reply, but I was with my job...

Even called me Dave when my name is my email

The email address what they contacted me on was bill.murphy80@aol.co.uk for anybody else that may get it
