Just a heads up for anyone in the EV market.

Renault are offering a £5000 deposit contribution on ZOE Dynamique models.

You can have one with Nil deposit for £129pm (+ Battery lease) on a 4 year PCP.

This isn't an advert, just giving a friendly notice to anyone who may be interested. smile

For 12k per year the car would be £140 and the battery would be £93 so a total of £233pm. smile

I think you would need to add in the leccy charging cost too? Would that be around 3p or 4p a mile if charging at home?
I think 3p per mile would be fair to assume.

Butter - any truth to this (appreciate that you might not be able to comment though..)?

Hope it's true - I'd love to consider a Zoe when the time comes to replace my Leaf.
I haven't heard anything about it. It would be a good idea to give people the choice though (IMO You're still better renting the battery) but lots of people do want to buy them.

Think the £129 a month including battery rental is for 6k per annum and the deal I viewed also mentioned a £2,750 deposit
No the £129 is just the car with nil deposit.

Previously the deposit contribution was £3000 and it is now £5000.

Battery lease is always charges seperately.

Not according to this deal

Edited to say, I'm sure you could lose the £ 99 acceptance fee laugh

Read the terms and conditions below. Someone has cocked up and put £129 instead of £199.

Also, that £45 per months gives you a massive 750 miles per quarter. Brilliant value when you could have 6000 for £70.

Top of the range is £10k for 4 years then ?
Correct, including battery hire.

Starting to like these. One drove by me the other day and it had some sort of futuristic sound generator.
Yes, they have a small speaker in the grill that plays a sound at low speed to alert people that you're there..... You can turn it off though! hehe

The Tech-Run wheels are nice, but don't forget the difference in the range by having them! wink

There are Artic and Glacier white with Tech-Run due into the country in December and one Energy Blue with Tech-Run wheels. That would look ace!

They are actually do-able though, however there is a mistake as it is only do-able on 6k pa and not the 12k that they are suggesting.
Yeah I looked this morning too hehe

I think they've put total contracted mileage rather than the 6k pa bit?

No, as the monthly payment for the car is actually based on 6k pa, so if you were doing 12k pa the monthly payments for only the car would be higher also.
Oh yes, you are right. So add £25 per month for excess mileage charge and you get to approx £197.
Excess mileage is charged at 8p per mile. So an extra 6k per year would be £480!

But realistically the difference (if agreed upfront) would be a lot less. it would be around £13 a month more!

Also, are there any PCP figures for the "battery included" car yet?

Thanks!
Yes and no, there isn't any supported PCP schemes as yet so you can have one, but go give you an idea I just quoted someone at £370 with no deposit. Still waiting on updated RV's for the 'I' models.

You can have 0% HP though which will be more attractive to people wanting to 'own' the battery and car. PCP is still going to work best with hiring the battery, especially with the deposit contributions you get!

How much are each of the levels now? (Renault website doesn't appear to have been updated)
I'll update tomorrow.

Just quoted on a 3 year PCP with nil deposit for £167 inc battery hire and metallic paint.

Can I get one through the biz at similar financials ?
I don't do much business, it depends on if you'd want lease purchase/contract hire?

What's the mileage limit? Do you think these deals will still be running next year? I've enquired on a decent Leaf Tekna PCP but they can't come close to the present Zoe ones. Think I need to sort a test drive out.
6k per year. No way to know what the deals will be. There's a massive push for registrations at the moment hence the cracking deals!!

Tempted by one of these or the Leaf on an equally cheap deal for the missus.

She does 15 miles each way - on the motorway at rush hour.

So prob needs about 8k a year max?

We don't have a garage at home, but do have off road parking - and we've had a flyer through the door offering a free charger installation?

Suitable for her?

How much roughly would we be looking at? Would prefer a two year deal I think rather than committing for 4.

Cheers

look at a low mileage deal and calculate the extra ppm for going over - may work out cheaper
It won't, you have to pay a penalty for the car AND the battery. Works out very expensive!

I thought that I saw that the battery was about 30p per mile on top of the car excess...
IIRC (I haven't done one in a bit) it's 4.5p per mile + 8p on the car so 12.5p per mile.

5000miles (per year) in excess mileage is £1875 over a 36m agreement.

The difference on the PCP is £7(ish) and the battery lease is £27(ish) so a total of £1224. Saving you £600+.
