For me, highlights listed so far are the Vulcan flypast on Sunday, and on-track the Chaparral 2A

'The Cholmondeley Pageant of Power is back for its eighth year and returns to its roots by celebrating “Power” in all its forms. Track action will include an “over 1000bhp” race and over 120 of the country’s most valuable and iconic cars and bikes will battle it out for a place on the podium. There will be Dragster demonstrations together with stunts and displays on track, and on the water. Sunday will see the Vulcan take to the skies along with the Red Bull Matadors. The first concours d’elegance will celebrate American muscle cars and 80’s poster supercars. On Friday visitors will be treated to the first ever parade of every production Lotus ever manufactured, organised by the Historic Lotus Register....

Great pic.

Family used to watch them all the time thundering into airshows, can't believe this may be the last year frown

Well I'm camping anyway, IMHO not really a hardship to keep valuables in car, or keep them in your rucksack, and I'll be having EVEN more fun than watching at LeMans...

Just found out my driver entry's been accepted in the Supercar Sprint in this Audi R8 as a promo for a company hiring sports cars for road use. Nice gig smokin

To be fair I never thought to try to find out about the F40 - maybe he's had a recent engine rebuild, or maybe there's an issue somewhere with it that would make going faster unwise, might not just be scared of stuffing it into one of the big trees. Though I would be, if it was mine.
Yes it was next to us in pits - a customer's car from a car sales co. so had to be careful.

I hope Sportscarhire's Audi R8 that I was driving was more entertaining for you, it's for hire on the road but had track insurance so I could drive it like I stole it... it jumps, & slides rather well out of tight corners wink Surprisingly good car on track, beat the Ferrari 458 and the McLaren MP4-12C www.sportshire.co.uk

I can't believe that based on the number of photos I took over the weekend, I don't have a single one of the R8. I suspect most of the time I was at the bridge and missed the "take-off" point, and if the car's not off the ground there it's not a very interesting photo. 918 was the same - that didn't take off either.
That must be it, you missed me! Defo got some air but it has got rather long-travel suspension smile
