My RS6 V10 saloon, bang the radar cruise on, perfect. I'm a little wary of the speed traps I keep hearing of, it will be my first trip to Le Mans.
We been twice and sat at a cruise speed of around 100 to 120 mph with no issues.

We usually try to do a tiny stint on motorways and make most of the journey on back roads through villages. That way there is less police, less traffic, and more fun

Is there a Pistonheads convoy, then? I tried to get a camp site on the Porscha curves but it is fully booked, does anyone know a campsite with space?
We will be camping at Boesjeour (however thats spelt). Its first come first serve and last year we booked our tickets 3 month before going and got excellent spaces.

It is a 5 minute mini moto ride through the campsite, some woods and you are at porsche curve smile

Hopefully staying on houx annexe

So when is the 'stickered up for Le mans' thread going up???
Thats clean! The more I look at the cars in this thread the more I realise that my tiny 272 bhp 330i will not keeep up!

Well we'll all be equal at 130kph because from what I've seen on previous trips you'd be nuts to go faster wink
I heard they are getting more strict with those stretching that 130 kph. Havent been in 2 years but last time I went, that 130 was stretched by some way with no trouble at all.....maybe I was lucky

Yeah, so I'm guessing I'll be taking the skyline! Haha!
My friend has the same issue between his A8 daily and his S13 which is in bits. The 200 will be more fun but considering it is in bits that are spread between 2 different properties and 2 different parts of the country, it is looking unlikely.

I'll be 3 up in my E39 M5, me, the mrs and my dad. Staying on the speed chills campsite at bleu sud. Cannot wait, going to be bloody awesome fun, and a jolly good way to see in my 30th year

Looks real nice. Get them kidney grills de-chromed and in black. Mate done it on his 5 and looks a lot nicer. Made a nice difference on my E92 too

I agree with you both, we were lucky as plenty of people got pulled according to the various threads. I think this year we will slow down and stick to 80 - 90. Trouble is, last time we were in bangers as we were at uni and now we graduated and all have pretty quick decent cars, it will be more difficult....
