Just going through my pictures and videos from this year and thought I'd share this of the Mulsanne at 2am. It's always a mission to get to but it's well worth it as you can see!

Edit - here's my Tetra Rouge video too: http://youtu.be/DHiZf_s0u2k

Cheers, it was interesting seeing them testing the brakes too before the chicane. Never noticed that before.

That's fantastic. I thought getting to the Mulsanne was quite tricky?
It is. smile It's a slog through some really dense brambles etc in the forest and we were all covered in cuts and my jeans were ripped to shreds. We were soaking with sweat by the time we got there. Was still worth it! smile

Great video! Was great meeting you guys as well even if our windbreak did kind of cut us off for a fair chunk of the weekend! Hope the heads weren't too bad for the journey up on Monday!

Cheers good to meet you all too. Hopefully we didn't keep you awake too much! Taking voltarol for my back pain then having a load of wine wasn't such a good idea on the last night before the long drive home. I was wrecked. The good thing is it pretty much knocked me out for the night so I wasn't too bad the next day. smile

So were you actually lying on the grass at the side of the track or did you have the camera on a stick? Either way, brave filming.
Yeah we were laying up against the barriers so the marshalls etc wouldnt spot us in the light. Its all lit up now along the side of the track. We only stayed in that position for around 10 mins max. Any longer and we would have been spotted.

Brilliant vid fartkong- how did you get there? I fancy a sneaky look next year..
It depends on which direction you're coming from but all I'll say is google maps is your friend. smile Just be prepared to have your arms and legs ripped to shreds getting through all the brambles, some of which are head high!

I wondered the same but we put up a similar video back in 2008 and nothing has changed since except that they have lights along the edge of the barriers now to light up anyone crossing over.
