Discussion
It's some of the local boys who are not what you would call pie keys but earn their living in scrap metal and knocking on doors. I am fairly well known here for my knowledge of Le Mans and they ring me or come to see me with their finds. I also have two 78 rpm records of Le Mans from 1934, but I have been searching for an old gramophone to listen to them. No idea what it will be like at all. But to return to the flag; it is for sale but I didn't buy. He wanted far too high a price. But I still mourn the 1924 enamel sign he sold too cheaply.
Still, I am seriously awaiting another find we discussed and which he will be bringing over in a week or so. It could in some ways be really epic. More anon.
