Le Mans for the virgin
Discussion
I know, shameful, never been before, etc...
Anyway, for the newbie, who would be best Team Langoustine, PH & Thomas Cook Air Track?
I am looking for somewhere with walking distance of the track, there is beer to be consumed of course, private, does food, provides tickets, etc.
Basically I want to simplfy it as much as possible for the first time and get campsite, race tickets, etc all in one hit.
TIA

The private sites are clearly very popular, although at a cost - think roughly twice that for one of the public sites. The joy of choice, horses for courses and all that.
Being a first timer, I want the security of a private site, plus the ability to keep up with the race at the camp site, walking distance so can partake in the refreshments and the ability to cover it all with one operator.I hope this is going to be the first of many and it might well change in a few years if it is, but that's what I want this year.
As I started this I thought I'd better update as it has bounced back to life.
I am on PH Camping mailing list and waiting for prices, looks like it is going to be January now. But, it will be either PH or Airtrack. Both look very good, so hopefully one will be cheaper to make the decision easy, otherwise picking between them could be hard work...
