Title says it all. The Portsmouth to Caen ferry overnight was getting silly priced £365. Going up £30 every time I checked back. So booked us all on the Portsmouth to Cherbourg at £285 per car and now going on Tuesday morning to get there earlier than usual. We normally arrive Wednesday morning/early afternoon.

Been googling to see if there's any news on Nissans new LMP1 entry, but can't pull anything. Not particularly a Nissan fan, but bizarrely my last 3 purchases have all been Nissan... Navarra, X-Trail, and the latest Juke (Yeah I know!) based on the downsizing pattern my next car would have to have been a Micra, but as they are all driven by people who don't use mirrors or understand the purpose of the white lines on the road, I decided to abandon my brand loyalty and buy a BMW i3 REX as I'm a tech geek. There's no way I'd want to attempt a 1000 mile round trip in a city commuter EV with 75 mile EV range and 75 mile on petrol. So instead I'll be driving the support wagon X-Trail down this year and I feel it my duty to get it stickered up with LMP GT-R Livery. Pointless, but if no one did it, going to Le Mans would be a little more boring.

Don't think I'll ever sell the X-Trail. So far it has taken a 2 seat sofa in the back, dragged the contents of a 3 bed house in a 10x6x5 box trailer and roof box, and done numerous trips to the dump with the equivalent contents of a mini skip in the boot.
