Pit walk Wednesday and Thursday,

Just musing over various Le Mans stories and thought I'd take a look at the official 24hr website. It now has Wednesday and Thursday pit walks listed from 8am to 3pm and has a picture of the main pit lane. Is this new, or something I've missed over the last 9 years? We've been to the pits on the Friday enroute to CBW just to have a close up nose at the cars. If the pits are open during the week I may well get a visit in early and spend Friday morning nursing the hangover before CBW.

I thought that all the grandstands were open Wednesday and Thursday but only ticket checked on Saturday and Sunday. I've not used them for a few years so not sure. But the stand above the pits might be well worth a visit this year.

So the Le Mans programme now has the Wed and Thur pit access only for those fortunate folk with pit walk tickets. Looks like us normal ticket folk will struggle round the pits hungover on the Friday then.
