Posted this on Club Arnage too, but thought I'd ask here............
Just wondered if anyone had plans for taking stills or video from a drone during the race weekend?
Obviously, there are dangers with drones being over the track, but to be track side of the fencing, but not over the track and getting vantage points from otherwise prohibited locations would be interesting.
Not condoning it, as I assume its against some French law, but hey, so is speeding ;0)

I'm not even considering it. Apart from the safety issues, I can't even play a computer game - there is no way I would even consider putting many hundreds of pounds worth of kit up in the air under my control!

I made it quite clear I'm not considering it.
I'm grown up enough to see the potential for problems, should someone send a drone up. That's exactly why I won't be doing it.

I think it's best I leave it there as it seems difficult for people to understand that this was a question and not something I intend to do or encourage others to do.
