What's the best way to keep beer cool en campsite?
Discussion
This year will be my 5th Le Mans, our smaller group have in the past camped on our own and in recent years with a much larger group, with a freezer to chill beer. However this year we are on a different campsite and face the challenge of keeping our beer cool. Usually the builders bucket full of cold water is the way but ultimately leads to an unsatisfying beverage...
Does anyone have any ideas? We are travelling in 2 cars, no room for a fridge and no guarantee of electrical hook up as we are non numbered in Houx...

Some interesting suggestions here, we have ordered a couple of decent coolboxes claiming 4 day cooling or something like that. This along with various trips for ice should suffice, but I also have the builders bucket ready to fill with cold water.
Not long to go now chaps, the mrs is not happy about the amount of camping stuff currently occupying bedroom space! I just hope it will all go in the car!

Haha... just realised who the op is.. This is Simon from Those Chaps. If none of the above works you can always pop round ours as we're taking the fridge freezer again. I'm leaving the dress at home but will have plenty of duct tape
Just me, Ollie, Rich, Tim and Les this year. Same site as before but you'll find us inside a proper Gala tent this time. I'm in the Xtrail doing support wagon, Tim in the xkr and Rich in his Mito.
Alright Si, how are you mate? When are you heading down? We are eurotunnel 7:50 am wednesday in my A4. I'm sure we'll be able to find our way over, we are on houx just next door. I gather JP is speaking to Rich at some point this weekend.Just me, Ollie, Rich, Tim and Les this year. Same site as before but you'll find us inside a proper Gala tent this time.
