Crowd attendance

I've just read on the ACO website that this year's record spectator attendance was over 263,000 people. That's a lot. It's quite staggering considering the majority of people I know wouldn't have much of a clue what LM24 is. It must be up there amongst the biggest sporting events in the world. A quick Google suggests top 5.
