Good morning.

Our group ( all PH members) attend the 24 hour every other year. 06 onwards.

Apart from the first time have always used a nice secure camp site inside the circuit.

It's only this year we found out that we will be unable to book anything until the end of this year into next year as the site and company already allocated all pitches to people who went the year before. Never had a issue before But just in case we want to look about.

Our group is a little concerned we may not get a pitch for next year so looking about and what can people recommend? looking for something secure. I did Houx annex in 2006. it was fun but having got used to a secure site and most of us taking Lotus 7 reps we have enjoyed the security of this type of camping area.

So what can others suggest. We would like to be close to the grandstands, normally have a ACO seat. Walking distance to the village.

if all else fails we would book for the classic.

Any ideas and cheers for reading.

been looking at the vids online and gave TD a call.

We used them in 2012 for the classic so would not have a issue using them again.

We will need 4 pitches and as 2 of our cars are only lotus 7 reps they can fit in well in a small space.

One question. Does Porsche curves TD camp site have allocated pitch sized?

We normally stay in Hunaudieres Camping which is a good 20 mins away from the grandstands and village. I think Porsche curves is a little closer

Village on the curves is the other one.

Booked there myself already, great location been a few times with them.

Going via Plymouth next year.
Will be good to see another local there. We are going via Portsmouth and on the Tuesday night ferry.

Quick question re Porches Curves. As we don't know the area very well staying at Hunaudieres we know we can get out of the camp and go to the local Supermarket. And also get the tram to Le mans center

So how easy is it to 1) get to the supermarket and 2) how is best to get to the tran from this direction of the circuit. or is it just a long walk

Am planning on booking for next year with a mate - roughly how much was the secure camping? Will be the first time for the 24hr (for cars)
Info on here

http://traveldestinations.co.uk/motorsport-events/...

Richard is my contact at TD and he's getting back to people with the exact prices for 2016 when the ACO get back to TD but going to be a little more then the 2015 prices I would gather

As I'm booking for a group of 6, some in 1 car and a camp site and some 2 in a car the price will be different.
