PistonHeads with Zuto at Le Mans 2016

We're getting cars and people prepped with just a few weeks to go - here's how to join us!

PistonHeads has a long history with the 24 Heures du Mans. For many years we've actively encouraged, facilitated and taken part in the traditional British pilgrimage to the Circuit de la Sarthe and 2016 is no different.

We've got the usual stuff PHers have come to expect, like a choice of two dedicated and secure campsites fully equipped with their own bars and all the creature comforts the discerning Le Mans visitor could ask for. And we're also pleased to once again be working with another cornerstone of the Le Mans experience - the Classic British Welcome. Here we'll be hosting another of our legendary Friday Services, which are like Sunday Services ... but on a Friday.

Now in its 16th year, CBW has now become one of the main highlights for Le Mans attendees. The event is now a meeting point for some 9,000 visitors and around 1,000 classic and sports cars from across Europe will be there. Each year the event chooses a new theme, and for 2016 the theme will be Alpine.

Just like last year we've been given our very own area within CBW to host a Friday Service in association with Zuto, with space for 150 PHers. Not only will they enjoy the company of the other CBW guests but they will also receive plenty of goodies, courtesy of the PistonHeads team in attendance.

The calendar for the Friday service will be opening on June 1, and we expect demand to be high. Like last year we ask that you only sign up for a spot in the Classic British Welcome if you're absolutely 100 per cent certain that you can attend and you'll be coming in a suitably PH-oriented vehicle. We've also been working with the CBW to implement a more streamlined entry and exit system, so hopefully you'll find it much quicker to get in and out this year.

Keep your eyes peeled on PH over the coming weeks for further updates, but for now if you want to come and haven't yet booked anything, let us take the hassle out of everything. Simply click here and book your accommodation, travel and race tickets booked in one quick, painless and extremely competitively priced swoop!

See you there!

Does a 1989 Land Rover 110 CSW qualify for the Classic British Welcome?

My Le Mans arrangements were made a few months ago, so we are camping on the other side of the circuit. Last time I went in 1998 it was with the Morgan Sports Car Club.
