Something to think about for those of us who buy camping gear just for Le Mans and leave it at the campsite for the s to scavenge. If enough of us decide to take this stuff back as far as Calais we could get a convenient drop off point set up by the guys at Help Refugees. Due to what's been going on there recently they could do with it far more than the dirty s!

Let me know your thoughts. I know volunteers who work at the camp and they'll be very welcoming of anything.

Blimey! This escalated quickly.

Let's draw a line under this now as this is the Le Mans forum. It wasn't supposed to be political.

But I do think some of you need to apply some intelligence towards why there are refugee camps in Calais. That you think they would be there out of choice is very short sighted. These aren't economic migrants, that's a different issue. These are people who had to run away from a war zone and the rest of Europe is too fascist to be nice to them. It's pure luck we were born in Western Europe, luck doesn't make you a better person.
