Hi Folks,

Slightly unusual question - I know that when driving in the EU you don't have to display a GB sticker providing you have the Euro numberplates.

Question is - do you have to have those plates front and back? Logic would suggest that the GB sticker would only be on the back and therefore having the europlate only on the back would suffice, but I suspect that you are supposed to have them front and back.

Reason for the question is the car is a Westfield with a stick-on front numberplate (illegal anyway I know) I'm replacing the back number plate as it has a silly care sales web address on it.

Your thoughts would be appreciated smile

Not long now! biggrin

Sorry not quite clear - yes if your displaying a GB sticker you only need to have one on the back.

Question is if you have the euro number plates instead can you just have the rear one or are you supposed to have the front aswell.

Stick on number plates info - http://www.dvla.gov.uk/vehicles/numberplateinfo.as... right at the bottom. Never had a problem with mine either though smile
