'Big dog' estate / hatch -lowest entry.
Discussion
We have a huge lanky choc lab, that not only makes our cars smell, he also doesn't like jumping.
So we are looking for an estate or hatch with the lowest possible entry, to use as a dog/tip/ school bus stop car.
Ideally available in auto and moderate amount of fun/coolness.
Thinking of a legacy estate, v70, v60
Caravelle far too big
Defender to high (rare as an auto)
Golf R estate (bit too good/ over budget) as is a rs2/rs4 etc
Currently have a x3 (which is a bit high, even the cayenne and disco on lowest setting took some getting him in.
Suggestions ?

Slightly off topic....
it seems a lot of Labs get a little too well bred and lack any get up and go. Obviously as they age they don't like to and can't jump as high
Yep......he is happy to run around the park like a loon, playing with every other dog in sight and do 3 mile walks daily with the wife and his mates.it seems a lot of Labs get a little too well bred and lack any get up and go. Obviously as they age they don't like to and can't jump as high
But in true traditional lab style ........if it doesn't involve fun or food he isn't interested.
Strangely on the way to the park he's easily managed to jump into the back of my RRS even when I forgot to lower it....yet on the way back...he like a dead weight.
He never goes upstairs and sleeps behind a child stair gate - which he could easily leap over (yet has no inclination to do so)
Silly lanky horse...who would have them.
