I've got one coming in a few weeks - saw this lease deal and couldn't resist: https://www.nationwidevehiclecontracts.co.uk/Infin...

Taking fuel economy, tax, MOTs and depreciation into account - it will cost less per year than my 2008 Mondeo 2.2 TDCi.
And if you include the amount I'm spending nearly every month on repairing the Mondeo - it'll be a nice big saving!

I test drove one last week. I found it lovely in the front with an exceptionally comfortable driver's seat even in the base spec. The only negative in comfort was a slight lack of thigh support - but I'm very picky about seat comfort and was still seriously impressed.
The dashboard looks nice with lovely stitched (fake) leather.
Not much room in the back or boot, which will be a little hard to cope with coming from a Mondeo estate, but I would say it's competitive for the class it's in.

The 1.5 diesel is slow, obviously - it only just stays within the "adequate" category but is much slower than I'm used to. Decent MPG was a requirement though, and I got 54mpg on the test drive despite pushing it a few times. The Mondeo would have been 35mpg under those conditions.
It's also quiet and refined while driving which is a bonus (a bit diesely at low speeds, but that's to be expected).

The chassis and suspension setup isn't the best, but it suits the 1.5 engine well enough. It's mostly focused towards a smooth and comfortable ride - I'm not sure that a high performance version would feel all that special, though.

Has anyone got one or driven one? I'd be interested in some more opinions of them. Decent reviews are hard to find as they're relatively rare.
