I am looking at selling my M10 Noble - the first M10 sold to a customer - as I need funds for a deposit on a commercial property purchase. Just wondered what people thought was the best way to go, private sale, dealer or specialist car auction.
Chris, having continuously breached rule 9 of The Ancient Order of Leancis Nobilus (see below) I think it's a bleedin' cheek that you now wish to sell her after so many years of teasing us all here And, especially after all the ribbing I got when considering seeling my '12'
The Ancient Order of Leancis Nobilus:
A. History of the order:
The ancient order of Leancis Nobilus (which, in modern times has become know as The Nobility) exists to keep unique and respected the ancient and modern marques of Nobilus as purveyed by Leancis Nobilus I of Leicestershire (195X to present). The purpose of this highly secretive group of individuals is to keep the art of Grinnus Wideus firmly in evidence whenever experiencing, or discussing, a Nobilus M-series product.
B. Membership limitations:
Full membership is strictly limited to present or prior owners and those with any Nobilus M-series product on order. Partial membership will be granted to individuals expressing a serious interest and dedication to the marque (proof may be required)(1).
C. Nobilus Virtual Ceremonial Sword:
A Nobilus Virtual Ceremonial Sword (NVCS) is presented to all members of the collective and is on loan. This must be returned if and/or when membership ceases. Only a limited number of NVCS units exists and these must never be disposed of on eBay or elsewhere. As the swords are “virtual” storage inside the Nobilus M-series units and elsewhere is not an issue (delivery is FOC and electronic due to the low virtual weight).
D. Tealus Leafis:
All members must be, or must strive to become, creators of the finest brew-up possible. Whenever possible the finest English Bone China must be used. Tea-bags may be used for convenience.
E. Rules (adbridged):
(1) Blingus (the ancient art of Bling), when concerned with all things Nobilus, must be kept to a minimum. The membership expects personal restraint and discretion at all times (2)
(2) The power output and performance of all Nobilus M-series products may only be increased (it must not be decreased in any way).
(3) Tampering with the structural integrity of any Nobilus M-series unit is strictly prohibited as is removal of any external identifying marks.
(4) The membership must, at all times and on all possible occasions, ensure that drivers of other marques of sports cars are directly informed of the superiority (in the areas of looks, performance and rarity) of the Nobilus M-series product range. If a physical challenge is laid at the door or a member this must be immediately accepted and the field of battle must be a race-circuit and not a public road. Race harnesses must be worn during the challenge and the outcome made public across the membership collective.
(5) In the event of the need to perform Slaggis Offus (slagging off) of members of Nobilus dealerships, for whatever reason, the membership must report details of the incident/s to the membership but only in code to avoid potential arrest for slander.
(6) All members must strive to learn the basics of the Jedi ways and language. This rule does not apply to members using a Nobilus M-series 2.5 (Classicus) unit as these already speak perfect Jedi (due to the forward location of their turbo waste air dump valves).
(7) The original "Noddilus Horny" low-sensitivity hooting device can only be upgraded to a Siebel Nautilus Twin Tone air-horn (available in any one of three colours from your local motoring outlet).
(8) Non-standard interior or exterior colours will not be tolerated on any Nobilus M-series product unless full photographic evidence is shared with the membership in advance of delivery and consensus gained and discussed.
(9) A member is permitted to own multiple Nobilus M-series products at the same time (but in which case it should be noted that the individual may suffer verbal or physical harm by non members due to extreme acts of jealousy).
The above represents the abridged rules of the Ancient Order of The Nobilus and cannot be altered, or amended, without approval and mutual agreement of the collective.
Notus minitus:
(1) Partial membership precludes members from the loan of the Leancis Nobilus Virtual Ceremonial Sword and to any high levels of Grinnus Wideus.
(2) This rule takes no account of geographic location (whether Spain or otherwise).
