Hey guys

Again looking at wheel options for the Noble as we don't really have much choice at the mo. Here's what I've found so far.

Team dynamics will make us the pro-race 1.2 front and 1.3 rears to fit, possibly other styles (circa £932 a set) prob the same weight as standard or current options

Image wheels can make us any of their billet or cast range, custom made to order 6 weeks lead time. (circa £2500 a set for the nice billet 102's) price drops 10% if 2 sets ordered then more if 3 and so on. Lighter than current wheels and probably much stronger

HRE have said they will make individual sets of there C100,C103 or C109 forged wheels range in our fitment which are very light wheels (circa £4936 per set -HA-HAaaa ooooo kayyyyy)
The C103
The C109

Forge line in the USA have said they can also do their GA1R/3R wheel in our sizes confirmed £4100 plus shipping, very strong and light wheel, looks great but still expensive. Lol
My personal favourite... GA1R -

Here's where things get interesting and cheaper again....…
Speedline have said for similar price as last time they will make a batch of wheels minimum 6 sets but rather than the current options they might be able to come up with a slightly different design for us and do drawings if we pass on ideas, I'm thinking similar to the style we bought 2 years ago but put some dish on the wheel and make it look more purposeful, either that or go for a 6/8 spoke style like what Compomotive did.

Just fishing for ideas and that's what I've found at the moment. I'll add links to the wheels tomorrow but don't be lazy, google and check them out. If others are interested in a wheel above let me know and I'll see if we can get discount. I've already sent my man back to forge line and HRE to see what can be done on prices/shipping.

Cheers

Graham

Spider looks great Adrian, when I spoke to Image they assured me the motorsport style wheels I preferred would be strong and lighter than the compomotives, how true that is I don't know, as the compomotive isn't that heavy.

Hey Shaun, yeah they are nice but I've already enquired, they only start at 19" wheel just now, also £15k for a set!!!

Chappers yeah they are nice but think just a 17" wheel, I'll speak to Speedline and find out more info on what styles we could have

Some further digging, Speedline changed their tune, they won't do our fitment in anything other that the type 2021 which has been bought previously and won't dish it due to cost.

It turns out 'Dymag' wheels are still producing wheels, just not under the same name/licencing for certain companies producing Ariel atoms etc, im trying to find if they'll do an 18" wheel

Also I'm waiting for prices from these guys, look pretty cool and option of a monoblock forged and dished forged GT wheel.

Will keep you updated

Yes Braid wheels are an option at £3k per set.

I went to put the order through to team dynamics but it turns out the batch of wheels they had blanks for drilling 4 stud fitments are now finished, they can no longer offer 4 stud 10" wide rears, only 9" which is smaller than standard

Its looking like our only options are change to 5 stud hubs, spend £3k per set on wheels or buy 6 sets from speedline.

Yep Adrian I'm going to look into cost of changing to 5 stud hubs/discs, I need wheels anyway so can discount that as a cost to change over.

The only Speedline wheel we can have is the type 2120 'multi spoke' wheel

Just looking at pics of the Q1, it seems to have 5 stud wheels...

so there may be an off the shelf option. I'll hunt around and see if I can find out what the rear shafts come from.
Might be custom I guess.
Well spotted, I've just gone and dropped Rossion a message asking what's involved and if there's an off the shelf option that would work on the noble upright.
