Another MOT fail on emissions - opinions
Discussion
Car failed for the first time in five years, always taken to the same place, on emissions (and a ball joint rubber split). Not sure if it was hot enough as they usually mark the form "cooling fans cut in" but this time says "coolant pipes hot"
Here is the report;
and here are a couple of screen dumps after getting it well warmed up;
Any suggestions welcome.....

On your screenshots, the intake air temps look high - you might want to check your intake air temp sensor, too...
Hi JimTemp had risen as car had been sitting for 15 mins whilst I found the first set of pictures i had taken by the roadside were spoilt by reflections, on the earlier shots immediately after stopping temps were average 42.

Thanks to all for comments so far.
Re-tested today and.....................it passed. In rummaging around I noticed the notorious vacuum take off feeding the MAP and boost control had been pushed right on and even tie wrapped in place by the folks that had the engine out for my clutch replacement around Xmas, no blame on them they did a thorough job. Surprised it had been running so well really although looking back it would stall a bit more easily than usual.
Thanks also to SWLC for next day delivery on parts for ball joint and mounting block, decided to buy the latter to avoid any delays trying to take the old one out and they checked threads matched properly before despatch so a hassle free install.
