Hi all,

the heat reflective sheet has come off my car (probably did nothing anyway looking at it!) so am looking to replace it. Sadly the search facility isn't the best and was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a good replacement heat reflective sheet? Do people tend to use a single large sheet or lines of tape?

Also, whilst I'm here... does anyone know why my interior blowers would work on 1 & 3 but not 2? Very strange issue that I just noticed today smile

Many thanks,
Alex

Will take a look at the resister then, how is the mk4 escort an upgrade? still plug straight in or need a bit of fettling?

In terms of the heat shielding, is it this stuff? http://www.nimbusmotorsport.com/ProdShop2.asp?id=7...

Presumably for the bottom of the box I'll need the middle size? Is there anywhere cheaper than direct? smile

Thanks

Perfect thanks for all the help guys smile

Ordered the heatshield (fun job for the weekend!) and will take a bit more of a look into the resistor situation too.

On yet another side note, recently noticed if taking it high in revs in 2nd and shifting quickly to 3rd it has a bit of a crunch. Might have to pop the engine out over winter afterall frown

Clutch fluid fine sadly. That said, it's only on very enthusiastic shifts it crunches a little - normal shifting (even spirited) it's fine. Only on 2nd to 3rd too. At least it won't spoil the car for summer :-)

Got the heatshield today, sturdy stuff! Also a neighbour is sending a load of titanium heatshield offcuts my direction so will see if there's something I can do with them :-)
