Hi all,

Just a quick note to say that I have just completed on a fantastic Noble. Coming from a Z3M, I am amazed by the responsiveness of the engine at low revs and the incredible amounts of torque. I also love the chirps behind during gear changes - what a car!!

I will hopefully be contributing to the Forum and getting involved with some Noble Owners trips. Right now, I'm just so happy to finally own one!

Quick picture of the interesting stuff - any owners around London please send me a message, would be great to grab a beer.

Cheers,

Ollie.

Welcome. Where about a are u?

What are the upgrades as I see it has some.
Hi MG Bond - yeah, new Garretball bearing turbos, Hayward and Scott exhaust, pro-alloy radiator / intercooler, Rossion lights, ohlins shocks, quiafe lsd, itg air filters!

Surprised how snug it felt in the drivers seat and how close the pedals are together... it'll take some getting used to but heal/toe is a piece of cake!

Welcome Oliver. I'm in the market for a replacement for my recently written off 2.5 and saw your's online for sale. It certainly looks very tidy, but I thought it was advertised as a 3.0 not a 2.5?
I'm lovin those Rossion lights and would be tempted to try and get hold of some myself! (if I had a car to fit them to!!!)
Hi - I've actually just bought the one advertised - I'll take a look through the invoices and let you know how the previous owner got hold of the lights (I imagine straight import from the U.S.)

Thanks.

I love the colour. I love Deep Purple wink Too many azure blue or silver ones around.
I'm a big fan of the colour too - it is hard to photograph because of the depth, really is fab in the flesh. It's called "wine red" and although it was a factory respray, i don't think it was an offered colour on the new cars.

Great stuff - I'll take a look through and try and find the pictures, thanks guys.

Sounds good, what turbos has it been upgraded with and what power is it running.

Is it a std untreated box and clutch?

Bondy
Hi Bondy,

It's running twin gt2860s and puts out 373 at 7000rpm. Clutch is AP and gearbox has been rebuilt (shot peened).

Would be great to get a pub sesh sorted - although I don't think I'd drive mine after a drink!!

Hi Ollie

Congratulations on the car I had called up the dealer with some interest but had a holiday booked so never got a chance to see it. Seems you beat me to it.

While I was looking into the car, I came across this which may be of interest. It's nothing to worry about.

Thanks Neil - very kind of you to send through the link. The dealer had mentioned your interest (good to hear he wasn't fibbing to get the deal across the line!!)

First ride out today in the wet - my previous car didn't have TC but wow, i need to get used to that boost coming in - really tested my reaction times in 3rd gear at 65mph on the motorway, back twitched massively under load!

Great fun though - amazing how much attention it gets on the road, a little off-putting to be honest! I'll need to find a very quiet back road to hone parallel parking!!
