Changed the two fronts today from 225 to 235 .So far so good they do not appear to catch inboard and they do fit better on the 9 inch rim. Anybody else gone or going this route?

How do they sit on the rims with the wider tyres.I think I will need to change mines to.Will the 225 still be ok to use they do look stretched.
Much better IMO the 225's definitely were not sitting as well on 9 inch rim as 225's on an 8.5 inch rim did. The rim protector on the 225's was not doing it's job on the 9's .

Not been far with the bigger tyres but no issues as yet. Some tyres are wider for any given width than others ,I do know that Falkens for instance are narrower that other brands .

A brand that comes wider for a given size [225] might do the job. I use Bridgestones and I measured both tyres when I changed them and they were about right.

Well managed to get a few miles in yesterday ,and pleased to report no issues with the 235's on the 9 inch fronts so top marks for getting the offsets right .

What brand/model of tyre do you have Ian?
Bridgestone Potenza ,I measured them against the old 225 bridgestones I took off and they seemed fairly accurate for size .
