LED NOBLE REAR LIGHTS

Ok so i had a bit of spare time this week end,to look at improving the look of the rear lights. These arnt finished yet,but you can see where im going with them.Im pretty happy with the outcome so far. I wanted to do something with them some time ago, but was way too busy with other projects.
PS; these LEDs are BAF

Yes they will be colour coded to match inner clam panel (black)and cleaned up. Holes are perfect circles,so no gap issues.

Hi Chris,yes your right,you can do a DIY job,but i wanted to try something that could be returned to standard if ever need be,and i wanted to do something that looked like a "profesional job" opposed to one that looks like a diy bodge job using the origional housing all be it that they are modified somewhat.
My take on the mod was never that i was the first to do it,but to have an alternative to the trailblazers and afterburners lights that arnt avaliable anymore. Actually now looking at them, i do prefer what ive done,and budget wise the cost diff was massive.
Housings are now in paint,but look better and better as the process comes along.

Good observation Rob,and yes your right in the pic, the outer led cluster it is slightly offset. I hadnt made the modification to level the outer led with the inner one before the pic.I had only just modified the casing and was checking to make shure both light clusters fitted in the cutouts.Trust me for being hasty!!!!

The LEDs I've seen available come to around £200 on their own so are those you're using significantly cheaper? If so where are they from as I'd like to take a look.

ok so wot i ment was i have the original lens boxes. Ive sourced some more which ive modded.No alterations or mods to the wiring or body work have been made,so i can return the standard lenses in at any point. should have explained myself a little clearer.By a professional finish,ive seen said lenses and i wanted the finish to look just that bit neater, nor did i want the leds to be recessed into the lens covers.personal choice.

Thanks guys for your positive comments. As always I keep getting sidetracked doing other things but I will try and get into the garage this weekend and get to the back of the car and put one in place and take some pics. Fitted my new carbon fibre steering wheel instead.




Sorry about the dark picture but the car is covered over and I haven't yet fitted strip light in the garage.

Hi Chris, yes I can sort one out for u. This is the second carbon one I've got. I prefer the flat bottom one,so I will prob stick the other one in the classifieds or fleebay.

No i havnt installed them to the car, They are ready to be fitted,but so many other things to do.Once i get the time and space to get the clam up, il get them fitted and take some pics.
All i will say, is that ive covered the issues that u have asked about and i can say that the light sourse is visable from extreme angles,and 10 times better than the original lights.The light sourse from the LEDs are as bright as fook!!!

hi, yes i saw those design sketches, but must be honest,i didnt like the lay out.Just looked too cluttered. inmo
just wanted a simple clean look incorporating all functions in just the two cluster pods.
