Rear light swap
Discussion
Hi guys
Ive had my noble just over 3 months now and it came with some horrible afterburner rear lights so im wondering if anyone would fancy a swap with some standard rear lights but they must include the bulb holders and drive down to me if possible as I know the afterburner lights are worth alot more than the standard rear lights.
PM if your intrested.

They are not standard afterburners - they are pretty much a one-off. I remember looking at that car online, had different side indicators etc aswell, they suggested it had cost a lot.
If you want standards, then just hunt for a set on ebay Mk1 mondeo saloon.
It makes your car unique tho !
I like the fact that it's unique but it ruins the car IMO and I'm desperate to get rid of them.If you want standards, then just hunt for a set on ebay Mk1 mondeo saloon.

I've got a set of standard lights but I can't get hold of any bulb holders any where.

Thought this was going to be a "look what a mess I've made!!!" thread. Sorry but they do look awful, and understand you wanting rid. I've had a quick look and they are not about. It seems these parts are in short supply, best of luck in your search, best chance is someone on here having a spare set!!
Thanks been on the lookout since November and haven't had any luck yet. [quote=andygtt]Im not keen on the afterburner lights myself but can usually see the appeal of having something different... but those are awful.
Im in Essex (near colchester) and I have had absolutely no intention of letting my spare set of lights go, however in this case I will make an exception as your car needs saving lol
If your on the Facebook page drop me a note and we can sort collection if your local?[/quote

If yours is the car I think it is. I went to see it when the then current owner was selling it. (He sold it to Mole Valley, eventually)? Anyway, he had the original lights, to put it back to standard if required. Might be worth a shout to Mole Valley to see if they could chase them up?
Yeah that's the car. He gave me a spare set of lights but no bulb holders. Driven said:
Those are an eye-sore.
Never really cared for taillamps that had exposed lenses (like the above-mentioned sets), makes me think of the side-kick character in the recent star trek movies:
Have you considered trying to affix the taillamps from the US Nobles? They use a Hyundai Sonata. Those taillamps are readily available from ebay.
Just a thought...
Never looked into it to be honest. Hopefully Saturday the car will look normal from behind lolNever really cared for taillamps that had exposed lenses (like the above-mentioned sets), makes me think of the side-kick character in the recent star trek movies:
