Help needed please!

Ok So it has happened again..... a couple days before a track day and my car has gone wrong!
Been working on the car all day, prepping it for a track day. Gone for a blast up the road to make sure all is well, then when turning to go in to a car park I heard a noise (sounded a bit like "tink")and felt something on the steering. I parked up and I can see the car has dumped all its power steering fluid. and the battery light has come on.
Has anyone got any idea what has happened?
Any help really appreciated.

ok, so I got chance to have a look this early morning with a bit 0f daylight. Looks like the metal pipe going to the engine has a compression fitting on it that has let go! It looks like it should just need a little tighten up as the olive hasn't gripped. and belt has also come off which is why the batt light has come on(either metal pipe has got caught up in it or the oil spraying everywhere has made it slip off).
So fingers crossed its nothing serious.

Was at brands all day and car was faultless. Even on high boost and the weather was red hot.
With no aircon.
