MEV Rocket question

Recently been looking at building my own kit car.

There is a company down the road GBS who seem to provide quite a decent kit, i do like the whole front engine rwd set up.

However, i have a clio williams that is succumbing to rust and miss the good old days of RWD.

I'd love to keep the engine as it was quite a monster and with a little love would be giving out its factory power.

My main question is that in these rear engined/mid engined kits, will it accept other engines than the zetec?

Ive seen the sonic with the uno, its for sale on here.

Talked with MEV today, they said its possible and if i gave them the engine they'd alter mountings to accept it.

Regarding the bellhousing. The guys there were very very straight talking and said that it'd eat more money than its worth, very understandable.

Theblackflash I love the look of that v6 upfront.

I know that im going to have to go mid engined and stick transverse. There are rwd renault options but a little too crazy and ott for what i want. Sticking with a transverse layout i was just wondering how easy it is to repurpose.
