VX220 as a base
Discussion
Well that depends. You can pick them up for around £5/6k. Cat D's with damaged bodywork for even less.
Now before you think i'm daft, that's for a proper chassis that works excellently, fully weather proofed and has all off the shelf parts available.
It's not as if you have to strip it down and use certain parts and then rebuild it all back up.
It's just a rebody basically.
The option is there, due to the engine "bay" and rear suspension layout, to swap in a host of other engines.
I like what the VX220 is, I'm just not mad on how it looks.

I bought myself a flat that I've been refurbing.
Between that and the other Tartan Tarmac stuff I've had less than 0 hours to spend on it. Should have a bit of time by the end of the month so planning to get wired into it again then.
I did have some thoughts of going mid engine with the 205 but I have the parts there and will see the Simpug through to completion.
