Good Quality Leads?

I have a kit car with Ford Pinto 2.0L. In the past I've had issues with aftermarket ignition leads not even being as good as the ragged old ones I'm trying to replace. Typically years ago I bought 'super silicon' leads from local factor, finding it was like Blackpool Illuminations under the bonnet when it was damp weather. Recently popped into local factor and asked what he had...
F "well leads mate",
M 'ok have they got fixed or moving boots on the ends?'
F "they move"
M 'Don't think they'll be any good as the moisture will give a conductive path'
F " Oh they're ok if you seal them with silicone"

I was a bit dumbfounded at that. I want ones that are sealed, not ones I have to repair before I use them - Is that too much to ask?

So where do I get good quality ignition leads? No good trying Main Ford agent as it's over 5 years old
