Help please , worried about...
Discussion
a Car I saw today , it is a Sylva Striker (not sure which Mk) but on the V5 it is a 'Dutton' and first registered in 84 (iirc from looking at docs) , it has passed an MOT in the last few days with no advisories , it has been well put together as far as I can see , and drives very well , it rides better than my Cooper S !
Should I be worried about possible iva or any other issues ?
Should I run a Mile ?
thanks

Thanks for all the input chaps , i want to run it on the road , if i was going to just race it , I would not be so worried.
it is up for 4750 , it does use ford uprights and it is running a 1400 k series with a hybrid ford/rover clutch !.
don't think it is fair to name and shame so i won't
the search will continue it seems , not many slyas about though , unless someone knows otherwise ?
cheers

sounds like an older striker, ex-crossflow, rover k retrofitted?
live axle or IRS? nose and bonnet in 1 piece or 2 pieces?
IMO, thats about 2.5k too expensive..if it would be correctly registered maybe 4k...as "dutton" 2-2.5k
spot on chap , Spax all round and a 2 part nose/bonnetlive axle or IRS? nose and bonnet in 1 piece or 2 pieces?
