Not buying or selling but need to know for insurance purposes hence the dull insurance type pictures.

does it still have the 1192cc engine and 4 speed box?

It's registered as an AED Bonito with 1776 engine. DVLC haven't caught up yet as I only got the new V5 two months ago.

value is difficult...if for sale i would say it would achieve maybe 5k.
for insurance reasons i would say 8k

Freshly built a couple of years ago with all new/refurbished bits for less than £5k. Even the kit was an un-built one from the mid 80's. You very rarely see them up for sale now and if you do they're either really cheap or up to £5k. Either way they're normally rubbish. I've gone with £10k agreed value for insurance purposes. Lets see if they go for it.

You will be lucky - push the price too high and they will ask for independendent valuation at your cost. Otherwise you will need some case historys of prices and trends to back up your estimate.
