Pretty new in the VW Buggy scene.

We're looking for a kit car manufacturer or supplier for a tubular chassis that replaces the original VW chassis (preferably shortend for buggy use).

I don't know if it excist? The kit car manufacturers I find always use the original VW Beetle chassis.

We would like a tubular chassis to accept Subaru running gear.

Does it excist for road legal registration?

There was one at Stoneleigh last year.

The prototype was built by GBS.
@GTMdriver: I looked at the site of GBS, they make Sevens. Was the prototype for a Beetle chassis and Subaru running gear?

Thanks for the info. I send a message to GBS and got the same links back today.

It is indeed the Morton Minx buggy that uses the MGF as a donor.

With all the Subaru's driving around in the UK I had surely thought somebody had started to make a Subaru based chassis for buggy
