Hi
After some clarification on the rules for the above combination.
I have a 1997 Fireblade 919cc engine and am pretty sure I'll need a cat for the emissions, even though the bike didn't have one in the first place.
I assume you don't need a lambda as the bike never had one?
Is it easy / possible / a nightmare to get the engine / carbs set-up for IVA?

Cheers
Steve

Thanks for the replies chaps.
Has anyone out there experience of setting up this year of engine for IVA?
I may be better off getting an older engine and leaving the one I have for after IVA...

Hi Steve

The car is a reasonable way on. Engine is running etc.
It's my brothers project that I'm taking over as he simply hasn't the time anymore to complete (or the inclination now I fear).

I have a feeling I may be popping down to your place for a few bits and pieces doing / finishing off so this may very well be one of them.
Looks like a CAT may be in order as well. Any recommendations for one?

Once I get the car down next month, I'll pop in to your place and have a chat?
I'm in Whiteley by the way so not far away at all.

Cheers
Steve

Thanks Steve.
Hopefully there will be an easy way of verifying the age of the engine.
It came out of my brothers fireblade he broke for the project.
Problem is he sold the chassis / V5 and can't even remember the registration!

Let the fun begin..
