I know he was a bit of a contentious issue for a few of you chaps, but I always found him OK, though to be fair I didn't buy a kit from him, only a mag.

Recall I had a long chat with him at Newark I think one year, or maybe it was the show he organised himself - Stafford wasn't it? Agree it wasn't the best show but I wonder if he had so many knockers he was on a loser from the start. At least he had the balls to stick his head above the parapet and try to organise a show - we're down to just the one show now so maybe we need the likes of him back? BTW I hear a rumour that the one show we do have, Stoneleigh is under threat.

Anyway I know Den went away for a three year stretch end of 2013 for growing some weed and I reckon he must be out by now. Anyone heard from him or know what he's up to? Be nice to have a character like him back on the forum, that'd brighten up a few posts.

His last contribution under his real name was a few days before he was sentenced, Dec 13. Maybe he is back and posts under another name?

Anyone?

Frank, if you only knew what Dave told me it'd make your eyes water, but since I was told in strictest confidence, it's not for me to pass it on.

But I always thought you couldn't stand for parliament if you'd had a criminal conviction.biglaugh

I am such a tease blah

Done a bit more digging this morning and had a couple of suggestions and sent off a few emails and the upshot is Den emailed me a couple of hours ago. Seems he's out and back in the community. Doesn't say much more but no doubt he'll pop his head in here at some stage, so you all BE NICE to him.

He did a lot of good for the kitcar industry over the years and OK made a few errors, but which of us has never made a mistake?

He's served his debt and the future is for him to decide.

Den, welcome back, come on give us the benefit of your extensive knowledge of the kitcar industry. Where do you see it heading in say the next five/ten years? Can we survive or are we heading for being regulated out of existence?

Best thing you've said on this Eskimo. if you can't say anything nice, say nothing.

Let's move on. How are we going to get the EU to keep their hands off regulating kitcars out of existence?
