Hi all,
I'm toying with the idea of building/buying a 356 Speedster replica.
Does anyone have any opinions on which manufacturer is best and if so why? I see some use their own chassis, some a modified Beetle floor pan and some a mixture of both.
Chesil, Speedster Clinic, Apal etc etc
Which are the most authentic replica and which are the best quality?
All info welcomed.
Cheers

If I had a spare half a million quid I would. I believe Beetles are still relatively affordable and I know a few of the kit car company's can also supply Beetle floor pans ready modified (or with their own bespoke chassis)
If I end up building my own I wouldn't be buying a high end/mint example to then tear apart, a cheapie would suffice.
I just would like to know which companies are the preferred kits and why.
