I saw this fun beast on holiday, and it has always been my thinking that one day I would like to build something like this.

It is (fairly obviously) a capri, built onto what I am pretty sure is (less obviously) an Isuzu trooper chassis. It is registered as a capri.

As far as the authorities are concerned... Is it a running gear swap, a body modification? Does it need anything more than a normal mot and an engine change size on the v5?

I don't have the no plate in any of the photos, but it was definitely registered as a Capri, I didn't clock what the engine capacity was when I looked either.

I was being dragged into a craft shop at the time...

They are a tractor tyre 11.5/80r16

Despite appearances, they didn't stick proud from the car.
