Any ideas what this fitting is or if it exists?

Hi,
I'm looking for something similar to this but I've no idea if it exists or what it might be called:



Preferably stainless steel but ali alloy will do. As an alternative to the thread rod it could have a tapped hole going into it's base.

Hi, thanks for the leads guys, I shall follow them up.

I also had a brainwave in the middle of the night (very rare occurance!) and figure I might be able to use a rod end.

Only proble so far is finding one with a 6mm hole through the bearing and a maximum width of 7mm so that it can fit into the fork ends of this fella:

Sorted, found a local engineering firm who can knock some up exactly as I need.

No doubt could've knocked some up with a hacksaw but we're talking 8 at the moment in 304 stainless steel so not good on the blades If the kit is well received then I don't fancy making them indivdually each time!!
